I don't think any discussion on this kind of topic is encouraged at the moment, as there will always be those who are against us adopting causes like this. Not that such people are anti-gay or racist, but they don't agree that football shirts are the place for such messages. Any discussion will doubtless get political.

Yet those same people probably dont complain about having shirt sponsors etc.

That is not the point of it. It's about a Blades supporters group getting a bit of backing. If you don't want to join fair enough, I think the more people join the better as it may help some fans feel more welcome, and therefore benefits us as a club in general. No losers here.

Where does it say anything about our shirts?

It's a supporters group.

Also it's not a political movement so where's the issue? It's just anti-discrimination, I'd say people who have an issue with that are a bit dodgy to be honest and shouldn't be protected by discussion being moderated or censored.

It’s just what we needed after the re-start we’ve had, this could be just what we need for Wednesday night.
 

I honestly think that issues of Race, Gender, Religion & Politics are important, but that a football forum is not the place for them to be debated. In fact such a forum is a place of distraction from such issues.

Great idea and initiative. As others have said, football should not be a place for political, social, racial, religious discussion and by extension should not be a place for discrimination, abuse or exclusion on such grounds. Anything that promotes this is obviously a good thing for the club.
 
Very welcome move by the club.

Football has traditionally been a very hostile place for the LGBTQ community so good to see the things starting to change for the better.
 
Got to laugh at the irony of inclusive set ups when we are all banned from going!
 
Fantastic to see things like this happening. I did wonder what direction the club might take under Saudi ownership, but things like this just show that we are in good hands.

Yep, no rainbows on shirts this time, I was wrong. Homophobic abuse at games should not be tolerated, we can all agree on that
