So why do they make Manure favourites?

Did nobody see that stat where we're near the top of the league in least shots allowed? Sure, Hendo's pulled us out of the shit on a few occasions but defending is a team effort and the ten outfielders will protect Moore as much as Henderson

Now if Egan's knock on international duty keeps him out we're fucked, but let's not panic

Nobody’s managed it so far, but If any team is going to rip us a new arsehole it could be Man Utd. Everybody seems to have written them off and they seem to be operating under the radar a little bit. In Rashford and Martial they have world class players and big Harry will be driving them forward. Also there does seem to be a wounded animal mentality about them.
So another draw wouldn’t out of the question for me really.

I can't explain why Man. U are favourites. Last night, the 'presenter' on RS pointed out - several times - that Man. U. aren't the team they used to be 🙄 . Still, they're better than the shadow of a team Wendy beat in the Rumbelow's Cup all those years ago.

Most pundits seem to think that ManUre have 'turned the corner' as they've won 2 of the last 3 (wins sandwiching a defeat at Bournemouth) and that may be the case considering they had only won 2 games all season prior to that. I'm in danger of tempting fate here and of course they should be doing miles better with the players they have but they have failed to beat Wolves, Southampton, Newcastle and Bournemouth away this season with their only win coming at Norwich.

Given the League table and the form of both teams, 5/2 is a ridiculously good price for us and 11/10 and shockingly bad value bet for them. Plenty of value out there folks, particularly with the 'multi' type bets :)

I would have us marginal favourites (and I do mean marginal) IF Henderson and Egan were both playing.

Moore in goal is a major handicap in my opinion (assuming it is he and not the mysterious Verrips). Egan would also be a huge blow, though you'd be okay with Jags slotting in there for a one off game. Perhaps Jags should replace Hendo instead? 🤔

In fairness to the bookies, the odds widely available suggest they think we have something like a 25 - 30% chance of winning. Does anyone really think that's unfair? Can you honestly see us (for example) winning this tie 50% of the time?
that's it .. breaking point reached..
can't understand the bullshit being spread about Moore. look.. Deano is a good keeper but the Brayford esque love in is getting a bit much. Moore is a perfectly good back up for Hendo and is in some ways superior (distribution and he doesn't let balls through his legs). He was crucial to our promotion from league one. he didnt' suddenly go crap overnight. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a blinder
