So.... Who predicted what final table?

Not bragging rights I'm just curious if you recall what you posted/predicted the final table would look like all those weeks ago?

I think I said in a post "We'll finish on 91 pts with Leeds 3 pts behind us".

Obviously the gap might be anything from 2 to 8 pts. Did not think we'd be in with a shot at the title of course!!

I predicted us and Leeds would finish on 87 points but we'd go up on GD about 4 weeks ago. I'll take that.

I'd probably like to forget what I thought would happen after Boro away

I said 89 pts ahead of Leeds on GD with Norwich on 91pts.
Think at the beginning of the season I may have had us as high as 6th and felt guilty about cursing the season.

Think I had ya at mid table with Villa and West Brom auto

It's amazing, isn't it? Going in to the final days games and there's everything still to play for with the top eight clubs. Will the Blades be champions? Villa (who host Norwich on Sunday) are definitely going to finish in 5th so have nothing to play for, and will almost certainly play WBA in the play-off semis - at Villa in the first leg. Leeds (away to Ipswich) will almost certainly finish third so will play either Derby, Middlesbrough or Bristol in the other semi and will be away in the first leg.


'Four teams (that finished third, fourth, fifth and sixth in the League) enter the play-off competition.

The semi-final matches are played over two legs. In the first leg, the two teams who finished in third and fourth place in the League play away from home – the third placed team against the sixth, and the fourth placed team against the fifth. The winner of each semi-final (based on the aggregate score of the first and second legs) goes forward into the play-off final.

Forest (currently 11th) should beat no-hopers Bolton if that fixture is ever played and could pip Swansea (currently 9th and away to Blackburn) and/or Wednesday (tenth and at home to QPR) to the 'Who gives a shit?'/'We'll definitely be up there next season' position.

I didn't predicted anything but if I had I would have said us and Norwich playing it out on the last day with leeds falling away in embarrassment with a player diving and cheating but I wouldn't have been clever enough to say which player , although I bet a pound to a penny some will be on here soon predicting it all,you now who I mean don't you.

Back in February I said we'd finish on 89 points, which is still likely!

However, I had us finishing 3rd behind Leeds. Glad to be wrong on that front!
