You're taking what I said out of context. Read Rev's post and all my post. Of course it wasn't Blacwell's fault that he didn;t have the same resources BUT he tried to pay the same tactics with inferior resources.

How come every one associated with SUFC could see that trying to play 4-5-1, not concede and nick a goal with last seasons bit part defence wasn't going to work? We had the 3rd worst defensive away record and Blackwell still played 4-5-1 and tried to nick a goal. Result: we lost most of the games.

I know you are trying to play Devil's advocate Jim, but at least consider what I'm actually saying before trying to take a stance to it!?
