Several years ago a mate who was an engineering director of a firm in Leeds had the responsibility of sorting the various H&S and insurance for the building.

An assessor told him the factory roof needed strengthening as anyone stood on it could fall through. Who's going to do that he asked? Someone trying break in with a death wish. Yep and you'll be liable if they fall through!
