So who thinks we can go on like this, and then all of a sudden bounce back to the PL ''cos we've got such a good side and best manager ever'? I would, obviously, like to think that's possible. But I just can't see it happening. Do you? What possibilities for this scenario to take place there are, in your opinion?

It depends on who stays and who comes.
This side has several really good Championship players but very few Premiership players

I don’t know... I’ve just watch Crystal Palace stroll around the park like they’re fucking Juventus!
I don’t know how it’s happened but we are a really bad football team right now. Way worse than Norwich and Bournemouth were last year.

has anyone considered that we only did so well in the Championship because we came off the back of a brilliant League 1 season? Full of confidence and momentum. Everyone giving everything for the club. Full of belief and would die for each other. We tailed off the first season back up but we could largely put that down to Coutts. Then, we kicked on and got promoted.

If you think a group of players who are utterly woeful are suddenly start playing like they they did before lockdown then you're mad. Football doesn't work like that. Much of the game is mental. These players thought they were invincible. Now they'll feel like they aren't good enough.

This team is mid-table Championship the way we are playing.

No guarantees we get promoted at all but with a couple of good additions in midfield I’d give us a punchers chance.

Got to stop the slide, going down after getting beat every week won’t set us up well at all.

Who'll still be here next season? Egan definitely not if we go down, Berge unlikely, O'connell unlikely, reckon Mousset will go back to France, can see Fleck and lundstram leaving regardless, so there's a huge potential turnaround imo. Absolutely no way I can see us bouncing straight back in that event.

Unfortunately it looks like CWAK built a squad with foundations on sand and now its all collapsed. I wouldn't trust them to build another one

Some absolute guff on show by our fans.

The gulf in class? If it was so profound we'd not have done so well the first season, Leeds would be bottom three right now.

At this rate, we are not just going down this season, but down next season too.

If this management team is here we ain't getting promoted. What makes any of you think this shower are suddenly going to become motivated and start listening to instructions from CWAK?

The direction of travel of our progression in the last 1/3 of the pitch has concerned me for some time.

Big mistakes have been made, and with considerable chunks of change. Wilder would do well to evaluate his own performance in recruitment in our creative and offensive areas.

Since our first year in the Championship, some 3.5 years ago, only McGoldrick has performed to any sort of consistent level and can thus be considered a good signing.

That’s one success and how many failures / mistakes ??

Ive honestly lost count. It’s a lot. Far too many for my liking.

This is, without any doubt in my mind, where the gaffer, sadly, has failed.

Now.

As long as he acknowledges (at least to himself privately) and learns from it, then he should continue next season.

If he is indeed the stubborn fucker that some have him down as, then I’m no longer so sure !!

Really shitty that it has come to this 😞.

100% UTB

Hearing shite rumours now, if they turn to be true make sure you stick around pal, I'll need you to guide me on the new manager..

I wouldn't know as to how to find a replacement to Chris. Most certainly there won't be anyone out there like CWAK, who could pull out rabbits of the hat like he/they do. But the fact that there's none better than CWAK does not necessarily mean, the way things are going, that it could still be possible for CWAK and SUFC to work together in a short run. It's hecking sad, really. I don't want to see CWAK gone, but what's the alternative? How can we go on like this? Makes me sick, all of it.

When we go down, this is how I see the team.

Off the pitch - More money to spend, better training facilities, stadium looks tidy, development of scouting range and quality.

On the pitch - Much better forwards for the championship, A worse midfield form wise and ageing, defence the same if we are to retain Egan and baldock. Better options off the bench.

Summary off the pitch the club is in a much better place than it has been for years maybe ever. On the pitch aside from better strikers the midfield and defensive will probably be worse especially if we can’t retain our better players.

We need a degree of turnaround the freshen things up.

We should fuck Berge and Mousset off either way. Injury prone / luxury players.

I think we’ll get a season out of JOC due to the length of this injury. He’s not forced to be the same player though.

Fleck - not sure what to make if him. Outstanding last season, fucking awful this.

Our biggest risk is overcoming the psychology of losing every week.

There’s zero need to fear our payers being pick pocketed by premier league clubs, because Egan aside, none of them are good enough.

What’s the numbers on teams relegated from the PL who actually bounce back at the first attempt?

Because we will definitely be an attractive club for players to come to, no doubt 🙄

So you've no answers, no idea who comes in but are desperate to change the manager.. Thankfully it's another drama queen who's shot his bolt a little too early.. One that should have known better..

If you want to reply dont bother..

I've no time for people like you, welcome to the ignore button.. I'll talk with actual blades, who go through thick n thin.. And back the lads.. Whatever division.. Whenever.. Forever..

Don't talk sense, it's ridiculed as bladey bladiness I believe.

Some will point to last season’s relegated teams, but.....

Norwich almost gave up before they started with their pre season strategy, ‘save the wedge, go down with it in the bank and come back next year’
They did go down, but with some great memories, Liverpool etc and whilst getting relegated, almost over performed

Watford and Bournemouth both took it to the death, and could class themselves as ‘unlucky’
As such all 3 teams can, with a bit of spin doctoring, take positives into the new season

Now, if we get our shit together and hang on in their till at least April, we can lean on ‘the 2nd half of the season’s performance/results as a ‘go-again’

However, should we continue in this vein, and be gone by Feb, the malaise in the building will be such a cloud I think we will need to make drastic changes just to get some new impetus

Not sure if even we can be shit enough to not get into double figures, but should that happen I reckon we need new blood, fire and thunder, sadly including some positions in high places

Hate to say it, but we need a new voice, unburdened by the trauma of this awful run.

CW is now a beaten man, no shame as he has created a legacy, but he could be..... no, he is, damaging his CV, and our reputation with the every demoralising defeat

Come to a mutual agreement, give him a good payoff and allow him to leave with his head held high, then get a new guy in with a brief to make us competitive, restore some pride and build for next season

I presume you’re being sarcastic, because clearly we will be.

Players care about 3 things. Money, money and money. :)
