The Pigs have become very hard to beat whilst Villa and the version of Brentford that plays at Griffin Park, are very potent teams seemingly capable of popping in 2 or 3 goals irrespective of how they play, and are likely to be problematic for the clod-hoppers at the centre of the Leeds defence. Some teams are just made to cause problems for others and from what I've seen, I believe that Brentford and Villa will be troublesome for Leeds.

Leeds, meanwhile, the WBA match aside, have been a far from free-scoring side generally managing a couple of shots on target per game. 7 defeats in their last 17 league games also suggests that they have become brittle.

In the circumstances, it looks a very dicey run-in for the Dirties.

I actually thought we would be well adrift after the PNE and Birmingham double-header, as they are both sides that we have struggled to fathom. As it is, it's just 1 point and I fancy that 9 more points from our last 5 games will get the job done.

With 8 games to play we had a tough run in, the hardest of the 3 top teams, we've done ok.
Now Leeds & Norwich both have to play Wednesday and Villa, whilst our toughest games are against Forest and Hull (if we dispense with all the 'every games is hard' business), I'd rather be in United's position than Leeds' (with the fixtures to come) and I wouldn't say Norwich are unassailable (but I'd rather be in their position).
