Why does Sky's coverage always have to be so polarising? During the build up I was cringing so hard at their analysis basically saying we should walk it and Wednesday's injuries and new system would lose it for them. By the end they were standing on ceremony as if the utter 'Blackwell Spoil' shite that had been served up by this Wednesday side was comparable to returning Dunkirk soldiers. Bizarre.

With Sky every game has to have a pre-defined story. This was about a new manager at Wednesday and how he instilled discipline in them. Whole commentary was finding these moments.

Worst bit was on full time whistle when the Irish guy says, ‘0-0 but the real winners are Wednesday’. WTLF

Five yellow cards, with one player picking up two and a red card, and one of theirs celebrating his yellow card with the fans is ‘discipline’?

How did the Lane look and sound on TV? It was very intense and loud on the kop, with loads more standing than usual

Interesting that, because from my perspective, the atmosphere came across as pretty muted, disappointing for a derby. Sky must have had the crowd effects mikes turned way down.

I was on the Kop (front left), and thought both sets of fans were a bit muted at times I’m afraid...
Nobody enjoys the derby game itself only the build up and result, not the actual 90 minutes, there's far to much at stake.

Atmosphere was poor outside of the first 20 mins, mainly cos there was fuck all to shout about from either side

I chose to watch ifollow. The camera work is poor compared with Sky, but it’s great not having a commentary. For me the crowd sounded the loudest I have heard in a long time.

The game needed a goal early on to get the supporters going. I admit I sat there for a lot of the game a bit bored, maybe because I’d expected much more.
Didn’t feel either side created anything to shout about.
Worst derby I’ve seen up to press, a bit dull. Two excellent saves though.

It is the same all the time mate. I watched Cardiff vs Preston a few weeks back. They were saying how Cardiff are a great side etc, Preston would do well to get a point given how good Cardiff are and how they never stop fighting for the win. Preston score in the 90th minute and they say how they are majorly in playoff contention having said fuck all about them all game! Sky are a set of cunts.

Absolutely ace. Looked better than in reality. Has McCabe taken a share in Disney, must have been some graphics in there. :)

Were you at the same game!!!! We battered them in the first 10 minutes ffs (that's when you were still in the bogs?).

It was after that it all went to rat shit.

We'll it must have been loud because my ears were ringing when I went to bed! God only knows what they would have been like if we actually scored.
