The day Sky employ Footballing Twat in Chief Lineker is the day I cancel my subscription.

Other than that, they have transformed sport on tv over the decades.

BT Sport not as easy. They asked me for a £66 cancellation fee. Been with them for years and had the Sport for 2+ years but they said i took advantage of a deal last June and it was 18 months for £12. Maybe my fault as did not realise it was a new contract - already with them. Regardless of that, I said that the service you offer is not the same now. I am paying for nothing (live sport). Long and short of it is he gave me a month for free but I said I would be complaining and I was not happy.

He said he had loads of complaints similiar.

I asked why they have not paused it and he said they are looking into this. Surely this should be easy? Sky have done it why cant they. Appalling. I will consider running down my contact and get rid and then watch the BT games on streams if there are any I want to see. Really poor customer service. Anyone else had this issue?

Been trying to pause my sports package for three weeks now. Get an error message every time and it's still showing on my bill. It's now also impossible to contact them.

I’d forgotten about this but just done it via the mobile app. Did it straight away & confirmed immediately. Also checked future bill projections & I’m not certain but it looks like they’ve backdated the pause to the time that live sport stopped.

Just a reminder with the season resuming, the Sky bill is going back up. Mines dues out Wednesday and its already back to the full price.

I got an email from virgin on Monday saying they were charging for my subscription (bt and sky) as of 15th June. My mate with sky he is being charged from the 15th too.

I've been reluctant to cancel sky for a while as it seems to get watched a lot then when I actually thought about it we were watching channels that were readily available anywhere and just using sky as a means to watch them. I called and went mental after being with them for 10 years + they tried to say id just started a new contract as id just moved and all they could do was to strip it back to bare minimum so I did that. BT were sound in all fairness and it was so easy to cancel the premier sports subscription too.

whilst doing my housekeeping found out I can get BT sports though my EE contract and work required sky sports which I sorted so now im piggybacking off that subscription so all is well!
