The club are advising that Blades Ultra's Shoreham Boys book tickets in these sections, would be good if all could wear a black outfit and a cheerleader be chosen to be bare chested.

Singing Area
Sheffield United recommend fans who would like to sit in the designated singing area choose Blocks 111/112.

I agree with the idea but in my view if you're at Wembley you're in the singing section by default because everyone should be singing! I think, in fairness, they will be.

Has this been a thing before? Personally it's all a bit tinpot plus both of these blocks are right behind the goal in the bottom tier.

Not in my experience. It's always been dead whenever I've sat in the upper tiers

Its what is needed to generate an atmosphere at Wembley otherwise you will just get tiny pockets of singing fans spread all over ...did you see the Palace v Villa semi.

TBH no - if it works then why not apart from being redders!, I am trying to see if I can get safe standing personally, mainly just to give it a go for the "novelty value"

Pockets of people singing is fine as long as those sections are big enough. the other night, G and H block were often heard separately to the Kop and it added to the atmosphere.

With Wembley being the size it is, what you don't want is tiny pockets of people all over the place as they don't generate enough. I remember against city, you only just heard a song starting before it died off. Likewise, syncing GCB ends up sounding crap.

Lets face facts, a lot of people don't sing or only join in with bits once it really gets going (and the number of times we start singing Hark now here... only for the second section to trail off into a bunch of mumbling..)

Sunderland fans potentially will see this as a bigger day out and so trying to get some volume from our fans by putting them in one place is probably a good plan.

We're not alone in struggling to coordinate chants at Wembley, so it has to be a good idea.

To those honourable fans who get chants going, all I would say is to try and sustain them for 3 or 4 rounds where it's normally 2, to allow them to spread out to the wider areas. If we can keep Starman going as well as we did on Monday, there's no reason it shouldn't work down there.

The atmosphere at Wembley is always pretty dire - good on the club getting something sorted for those that want to contribute to making it better.

I thought tickets were being sold from North to South and you couldn't choose which block you wanted to be in???
They are - but I suspect that is true for any given price point.

The blocks listed are the furthest "north" within the "safe standing" price point - ergo I would expect them to be on sale at 12 today

I wanna hear Starman ringing out at Wembley........everybody knows the words.
