There can't have been many more teams throughout the years that have had a greater disparity in GF and GA.

Only Crawley and Shrewsbury have scored fewer goals than us but only Wolves, Brentford, Orient and Preston have conceded fewer.

It has been a very strange season.

It's been an exciting season one way or another. Who would have thought it would be this good back in September away at Rotherham ?

It has been a very strange season.

In Darren's absence, in 1981, we contrived to get relegated with a positive goal difference of two. I just checked and in fact, we scored 65, which is more than Rotherham (champions) and Charlton, two of the three promoted teams and we were the 4th highest scorers in the league

Unfortunately, 63 conceded did for us and if we'd let in 1 fewer goal, we'd have stayed up if that one goal was the one v Walsall at home. Of course, if Don Givens had scored the subsequent penalty, we'd have stayed up anyway......
