Haven't seen these videos on any other threads so thought I'd bring up the recent snippets from the Blades' YouTube.

Notice he compliments (Goalkeeping coach) Darren Ward voluntarily, a point of contention with those who are running out of things to moan about on another thread.

Anyway, certainly like the sound of Moore, appears switched on in the interview and switched on between the sticks as well. Long may it continue, fingers crossed for a consecutive clean sheet Saturday.

Good switched on goalkeeper who does give credit to Goalkeeper coach Ward , which is good and satisfying , as it did cross a number of supporters minds , was he getting the best out of George Long or assisting in eradicating Longs faults. . It does unfortunately appear that Long may not be good enough or competent enough to cut the mustard between the posts at BDTBL .

Long conclusion is that he ain't good enough and will have found another club in January , maybe over the border .

Chali , not all fans were moaning , some where concerned . Anyway back 4 and goalkeeper sorted by Wilder and proving to be a betterment .

Nice one.

For those old enough to remember the tune;

Simon Moore, Simon Moore, keeper for The Blades,
Simon Moore, Simon Moore, every hair in place,
Saves to left, saves to the right, Simon Moore, Simon Moore, Simon Moore.......

Whether it's people moaning or simply concerned, I still object.
My point at the time was that people shouldn't criticise a coach without fully understanding their roll and seeing them in action: something which I doubt any of his critics had done.

Seemed people decided that because we'd had one goalkeeping 'failure' in Long, that immediately meant the gk coach was at fault, which I contest.

How long has Darren Ward been our Keeper coach now?

Just read the u23 report v Newcastle. Long made a mistake in that game at 0-0 and it sounds he was very lucky to get away with.
Passed the ball straight to one of their players who was then one on one with him.
