Even as a play i always thought he sounded off like someone who is not fully compos mentis

Yeah Writghty that is how it works we just sue people for the fun of it.

Ian Wright is one of the shitest pundits ever. He talks no sense & has about as much intelligence as a postage stamp. i really hope Hull stay up & we win promotion just so i can have a good laugh at this clowns expense.

Not really suprise that he wants his mate Shearer to stay up. Not really surprised that he wants an ex-club Burnley to go up. Cheap shots at Brown and The Blades though. Then again he did play for the cheats so it's not that much of a surprise.

He talks about Phil Brown losing respect.....he wants to take a look in the mirror. Going from a top Arsenal striker to writing for the Sun? I didn't think anyone at the Sun actually had respect......

Phil Brown losing respect for taking his players out on to the pitch......not quite on the same lines as a professional footballer getting arrested for stealing from a womens handbag is it...and who was it that gone done for that....mmmm Bradley WRIGHT Phillips.

The comment about the courts and Claret and Blue is perhaps a bit tongue and cheek, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere near Ian Wrights tongue and cheek after he shoved it so far up Shearers arse in the piece.

To be fair, i agree with his assessment on the Phil Brown half-time team-talk incident. I hope they are relegated simply to take Phil Brown down a peg or two.

The amusing thing is, he left MOTD because he felt like he was there as a comedy gesture and he wants to be taken more seriously. So what does he do, goes and presents men in leotards playing games one on one ;) What a career move!

I disagree. I would've left them on the pitch aswell. He did the same at Bramall lane when they weren't winning us this season in the fa cup. I think its good management. A lot of players just turn up these days and treat it as a normal job. They don't play with their hearts anymore. Well done Phil Brown for trying to drum some sense back into your under-acheiving squad!

I remember in 1996 at Highbury in the FA Cup a certain Mr. Wright getting a strop-on when playing for the Arse. A short while later he looked even stroppier when the 3,000 or so Blades were serenading him with "Ian Wright is a mardy cunt" at full volume.

Didn't Cloughie once do the same thing - but then again this was the manager who decked Roy Keane :D reckon Wright could do with some of the same treatment to knock some of the arrogance out of him too.

Think it would be better for football if (big club) Newcastle and (big name) Alan Shearer got relegated. It's about time that the big clubs were taught some humility and realised they have no divine right to a place in the top flight . Same goes for their fans too - they'd enjoy a trip to London Road or the New Den!!

I don't mind Wrighty to be honest. He breaks up the monotony of Hansen et al. He speaks like a common fan, because under the veneer of cash, that's exactly what he is. He's also something of a prat, but he's harmless.

I didnt mind him too much as a player but he has made a right arse of himself by posting stories like that... Is he completely clueless and biased??

I like him on Talksport but he is way off about Burnley, although I agree about Hull, Come on you Blades!

I stopped listening to that drivel on an afternoon, due to him being a complete gob shite.

Well, when i say 'listened' i meant, put on while i had my tea.

The blokes like a complete child, hence the reason BBC rid him of their live football coverage.
