I disagree. I would've left them on the pitch aswell. He did the same at Bramall lane when they weren't winning us this season in the fa cup. I think its good management. A lot of players just turn up these days and treat it as a normal job. They don't play with their hearts anymore. Well done Phil Brown for trying to drum some sense back into your under-acheiving squad!

Didn't Cloughie once do the same thing - but then again this was the manager who decked Roy Keane reckon Wright could do with some of the same treatment to knock some of the arrogance out of him too.

Think it would be better for football if (big club) Newcastle and (big name) Alan Shearer got relegated. It's about time that the big clubs were taught some humility and realised they have no divine right to a place in the top flight :thumbdown:. Same goes for their fans too - they'd enjoy a trip to London Road or the New Den!!
