Long has faced 5 penalties in the league this season and saved 3. Decent!

And well done to the lads for following up and eventually clearing, worth nothing if they tap home the rebound.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, I've seen pens go in against Simmo that weren't even on target.

Loved the way he took his time and acted nonchalantly to put the pressure on the taker. You can hear someone in the crowd picking up on it and shouting 'well done George'. Big difference from the nervous kid he was when he first started.

I've never seen that happen but it should've happened in a game Revolution Jr played in earlier this season: the keeper dived and partied the penalty but as the kicker ran in to put the rebound away he was taken out by a 2 footer tackle from behind. It was as clear a pen as you'd ever seen but the ref decided to ignore the whole thing....

I look at the response of the players once the ball has been cleared and most rush to Long and thank him for keeping us at 0-0.

Our left sided Centre Half does nothing of the sort and has a look of someone has just thwarted his Shrewsbury 1st team to score bet!!
