If he is watching down on us all, I just hope that he is enjoying the best United side for donkeys years, because if he was here he would be loving it
5 years !!!! God where’s that gone , didn’t know him personally but saw him at the matches , yes what a great same he didn’t see the Wilder years .
5 years jeeez !
We should remember, for real fans like Shred, supporting Sheffield United wasn't about success, but the occasion and the camaraderie.Only said this last week.
All those years DS spent going everywhere to miss out on the Wilder years.
Yes, it was.Loved the man. Knew him for many years , we are both Intake lads and he was around the same age, we had many conversations about our beloved Blades on the 95 bus into town. I do believe that this is possibly the last photo taken with him in it , at Rochdale just before his untimely passing . RIP legend.
When I used to see him at away games it were always “Alreet Young un”Same here I can't believe it's 5 years since Shred passed away. Great bloke and he was Mr Sheffield United. As ForgeBlade said it was always great to get the nod off of him, or in my case "Alreyt Banger" . So many brilliant stories to remember him by, I really hope he's looking down and witnessing the great football we're playing under Wilder.
RIP Shred
