No (disagreeing with your take on things is becoming a bit of a pattern here) Someone offered me out. I don't see this board as a vehicle for that, so I removed myself, no fuss, no flounce, no "I'm going now! I am, you know ... " as you slowly close the door. Like you did. Strange. When you threatened to leave and no one bothered much of fuck, you stayed. A bit like Farrage. He's a throbber as well.

I'm not using a megaphone and paraphrasing anyone with regard their opinion on you on here, but I think I speak for many on here to proclaim if you decided this place was making you a bit cross and miserable and you decided to delete your account and sod off for good, no one I can see would blub uncontrollably. No one would wish you back in a hurry. No one would even fucking notice much. You can either fuck off (which I doubt you'll do, because now you have a new nemesis on here) or you can stay and become everyone's punchbag. Either way, I couldn't give a fat rat's arse.

I don't know Cyprus, I might get some stick for this but Barney says he's a Blade and that's good enough for me. I don't agree with a lot of what he says but, some of it I do and I respect his right to come one here and say what he thinks. Just that most of his comments seem to rev people up, and threads then degenerate into hurling insults at one another.

I am unable to hear any radio commentary. I rely on updates in shoutbox and a goal is nearly always announced in there before it does in SSN

I often listen to the commentary on Bladesplayer. Shoutbox is always well ahead of the "live" commentary and sometimes BP is even behind the SSN ticker.

That's a double edged sword, it means I can look forward to the goal commentary if it's us that's scored, but it's less fun when we've conceded :-)

I can't speak for anybody else, but I can easily handle a difference of opinion, you seem to think it's only you that sees the faults and problem areas. My objection is to the constant repetition of the same general negativity and incessant criticism of Adkins, we all know what you think. The outpouring of bile completely blinds you to the joy of an undeserved last minute win.

lenners used to be the same, banging on about how rubbish the club is and he got the same accusations of not being a Blade (which I think you are by the way, I disagree with the porker and Miller accusations). He was challenged to get something done, going to the AGM and asking the difficult questions, which of course he never did, he just succeeded in getting himself banned.

I'm rather hoping you'll go the same way though it might take a while, but in the meantime, instead of preaching to impotents, why not take your crusade to the club? Shoes off in the car park, or a banner or something with Brian the Blade, anything. You know you're right, so eventually the masses will wake up and you'll force change.

I said (IIRC) "I don't mean to be rude Johnny, but I don't give a fuck about Worcester", and then went on to ask him, that if he must give live match updates about Worcester in a shoutbox on another team's football site (i.e. this one) when that team also happens to be playing, that he please refrain from using "we/us/our/etc" as it causes much confusion to anyone reading the updates. Reading some of the posts above, it's clear it wasn't just me who was getting confused reading updates from two different games. I most certainly did not say he wasn't welcome, that he couldn't post, or any of the other things claimed above.

I'm not normally one to be hostile to people on here, even the few away/opposition fans that we have knocking around (barney being the one exception). In hindsight maybe I was a bit harsh, but I think you had to see the full conversation to get some context. As is typical when an away game is on, there were probably 20/30+ people posting, many posting updates about what was happening in our game. Every so often you would read something along the lines of (a blades poster saying) "Long picks up the ball", then a follow up line saying something like "our keeper nearly dropped the ball in our net", and would then realize, a few moments later, that the second update was someone (Jonny) posting updates about a completely different game!

So yes, I told him I didn't give a fuck about Worcester (and a few others said they agreed). Just to be clear; I don't wish Worcester malice, I don't wish to see them relegated, I don't want them to go out of business, I don't want them to lose whatever game they are playing in any given week (unless playing us). I just honestly, couldn't give two flying fucks about them one way or another (especially live updates, in a blades "chatroom", when united are playing). Sorry JonnyRed(WCFC), you seem like a nice lad, and I apologized to you yesterday in the shoutbox (so really not sure why the need for the drama of a thread? but hey ho), of course you are welcome here, but please bear in mind that most of us come here to get news/updates on Sheffield United, not Worcester.

barney is not a patch on old lenners..he was fun, barney, well, no doubt a blade but tbh hasn't quite moved his argueing/trolling technique from level 1 yet..

mebbe he will but at the moment hes been given his arse back to him by pomps...easily as it happens.

having been around blades boards for a long time, pomps can look after himself...leave em be, its fun

Couldn't agree more and he took the stick he got in good part and there was plenty of it. I even offered to buy him a drink, I can't see me doing that with Barney. Or perhaps I shall and then if he accepts, I'll, er, retract my offer........

I didn't put any names to any of the posts on shoutbox Because I did not want to put someone in a position to have to defend themselves, I just thought at the time it sounded rude to someone who has been on our forum for a while posting about various sports was kind of put in his place, I fully understand no malice was intended, but don't worry Barney took over the thread anyway. UTB

I got on with Len ,we disagreed , argued and tried to win every argument but I always got on with him. Other people view are fine and what makes a forum ,repeating it 2192 times does not. Len was interested in discussing Utd ,barney is interested in discussing Barney/true whatever

I didn't flounce. I sacked my account and left quietly. I observed for a few months and believe me, looking from the outside can sometimes be cathartic.
