Easy to say that mate. They also had some very good chances to score and take the game out of our reach.

Proud of the lads but wish we didn't leave it so open at 2-1 with 5 minutes to go... we had another 30 minutes with a pumped up Bramall Lane to get the goal we required.

Yids , i enjoyed both games , with the teams actually being evenly matched , but class won the day , as cream always rises to the top.

The positive was both games were played in a true sprit , not like the other semi on tele last night.

Mr Clough was very gracious in defeat , and your manager acted like a gentleman , with respect and dignity in the win.

Both teams and managers have been a credit to the game. Support in both legs from us both in the ground brilliant .

You were only one up due to one of those dream moments when a player produces something exceptional, something he might only repeat once or twice a season. We were one unfortunate goal down from the first leg so we had to be circumspect. We were always going to play for that period when we threw everything at you in the second half. Apologies for the swear word. You're right it's now a couple of hours since we lost the game under really harsh circumstances and I am now more controlled.
