As a long time supporter of Ms Riley's work, I'm just a bit dismayed that her standards have been so viciously impugned on here, of late. This makes me a bit sensitive if Mrs Bush is brought into it, in case things go the same way for her. (And yes, I know about that sheep disease she caught from Roy Harper, but it was a long time ago and values were different in those days).

All the others got her mixed up with Lisa Riley though, as I explained. And were seemingly quite satisfied for some reason.

That's illogical though. If you can only catch it from sheep how did she catch it from Roy?

Fuck that. If Everton wanted players with more experience they can fucking pay for them. It's not our fault he's not working properly, sold as seen. Our first team places are for first trainers and to develop our own kids, not Evertons.

If DCL calls, just tell him we've converted his room into a study/office and Jags is in the spare room. It was his choice to leave home so he'll have to deal with it.

My bad phrasing. A venereal disease that can be passed from folk singers to sorceresses, but which originates in sheep. Quite possibly an urban myth (m'lud) :)
 
I've touched shit a few times and I never found it to be that hot. Does that mean this youngster is only average?

But couldn't it be transmitted onwards? For example if Al Stewart stuck it in Kate's Bush, could he catch it and then get accused of sheep shagging? It seems like there's an underlying implication that Roy's a sheep nonce when he may just have caught it from Dana or her from the New Seekers.

Dana would certainly make for an alternative, and highly entertaining, explanation of how this particular virulence entered the human biosphere. As I recall it, though, the urban myth was fairly emphatic that Roy was a sheep nonce :) Or that he'd been nonced by a sheep.
