Here's an odd one

Sorry for the potato quality.

This is the usual academy/women's one

The unusual one was a raffle prize at Hallam around Freshers week.

I'm trying to slim down my match worn shirt collection, so have these two up for sale on ebay at the moment ... would also be interested in swapsies for other mw shirts :D

Liking these shirt collections. I have spent over £1000 on my retro blades shirts now. But does anybody collect tracksuit tops aswell ? Some of those 90,s ones were reyt good.

I've got one. Umbro one. Red white black. Wacky pattern to be honest.

Bottom row, second from the left, the orange and black Adidas shirt, have you got any additional pics of that? I don’t recall that one.

Great collection!

Its the yellow and black one we wore when we lost to Swindon?

Why didn’t we wear the lime green that day? Makes more sense than white and doesn’t clash.

I only just saw the question - I don't have the answer but the story I heard was that we had to get rid of the first lime green kit (luminous greeny-yellow) after 1 season because the police objected to it . It was basically a high-vis material, the same as the emergency services wore and it meant they couldn't tell who was a steward and who was a Blade at matches?

So, I'm wondering whether the Police objected? ... but as I write this I'm running out of confidence because it made little difference what colour the players' shirts were, they'd have to ban the crowd from wearing them.

Sorry, I'd delete the post only it took a couple of minutes to write....

We wore it for 2 seasons . 1989-90 and 1990-91. Yes, I read that we had to change it because it clashed with the steward's coats

ooo i've just thought... does being in the prem now mean we will have a 3rd kit? wonder what the likelihood of this happening is? we could end up clashing with southampton depending on what they go for on away kit

Might need 4 kits then, because this is Southampton's 3rd kit...

I'm into this sort of idea

this is Tony Kenworthy about to take a penalty - it's adidas® complete with the trefoil.
Coaching staff went out the morning of the match after the referee said that the shirts would clash and bought a full set of shirts just for this game if you look closely there's no badge
