You also forget Kozzy's goal vs West Ham. That would have done it for us, would it not?

Hate to say I laugh at my own posts but I did in this one. Includes highlights of our last visit.

"United vs. Sheffield United" - urgh.

To accommodate the rescheduling of the Welsh Grand National to today, Doncaster staged horse racing yesterday instead of today. Commenting in today's Racing Post, Doncaster executive director Kieran Gallagher states: "...we miss a clash with football. Doncaster Rovers are playing, and a lot of people are heading to Manchester, with Sheffield United at United."

How to alienate potential local customers.

Reading this thread has just wound me up again. Can someone please post some examples of where we got a break in that season so I can maybe feel better and mitigate the sheer injustice of it all.

Webbers goal in the last minute against Watford, possibly (probably) offside.

Stealing a 1-0 win away at Newcastle.

Historically I rank this up there as one of the top injustices we've been dealt on the pitch in the time I've been following us. This was particularly infuriating at the time in that it was:
a) absolutely blatant
b) would have given us a way back into the match
c) should have also been a red card, meaning we could have then had a chance at a further goal up against 10 men, and
d) absolutely blatant!

This, and the Liverpool penalty award on day 1 of the season, still annoy me today.

What happened to Shelton? He looked a promising player but can't remember what happened.

I'm afraid we were playing at it that season. It was essential to stay up there and yet we messed around with new players like Shelton, Claude Davies, Fathy ( who was good but Warnock didn't seem to think so), Nade, even Kazim-Richards. Mixture of no-hopers and hopefuls.

Watch out, the Warnockwaffe will be along to tell you it was someone elses' fault soon.

Walth, so you are telling me he was something other than awful?

Att Premier League refs on 1st name terms with Premier League players.
