If we had scored em we would be saying what fantastic strikes, what skill, nobody could have stopped em, concede em and our defence is shit, you can always look back and say we should have done this or that, sometimes you have to say probably the best goals we will concede all season, pity is they all came in the same game. I thought we played pretty well today and should have got something out of it, especially in the first half.

If we had scored them I would have been saying fantastic strikes but shit defending, which it was today. The 2nd and 3rd were inexcusable for me.

Fuck me, the old 'they're unstoppable' myth again!

We KEEP conceding these goals from distance and every fucker acts like there's nothing we can do about it. It's been going for a couple of years now and the penny still hasn't dropped.

i didn't understand the substitutions.. i thought although sammon had a shocker first half he was finally getting into the game..then Adkins brings on Baxter. i don't think he touched the ball.. Adams is not a back to the goal hold the ball up striker. he needs the ball in front of them and then he can murder teams.. i know that.. you know that .. so why were we lumping long balls to him on the half way line??.. you just give him the ball on the wing and watch him tear them a new one

....give me a migraine. They literally make me want to slowly bang my head against a wall.

Mini run of wins and momentum completely wasted by losing a six pointer at home.

What an agonising club to support.

We are so predictable it's painful. get on a mini run, then lose a very winnable homegame and toss it away when we get level.

We very rarely win more than 3 league games on the bounce, so was pretty obvious we would lose today.

As I said in September, we would get to the new year about 12 points off automatic and outside the play offs. We'll continue to be in the edge of the play offs for the remainder of the season, not strengthen in Jan and finish about 8th. Meanwhile, the pigs will go up through the play offs.

When have we ever as a club done the unexpected?? When have we ever come from behind in a season and made a late run to achieve something? Only 1990-1991 under basset when we survived, maybe 1991-1992 as well, and the run under Clough the other year - but we still missed out on the play offs. The 2008-2009 season looked promising before the predictable agony of the play off defeat. The seasons we've had promotion, we've been up there from the start and hung on for dear life.

Wouldn't it be nice, if just once in our 126 year history we actually did the unexpected and made a late run for the playoffs and got promoted and actually did something no one was expecting.

Just trying to find evidence of other teams who have conceded 3 at home to Peterbrough that have still gone on to win everything ever.
