Absolute class their midfield and is showing up the lack of game time for Blaster and the fact that Peck needs a protector to look after him

We are failing as:
1. Arblaster needs play sporadically until next season, he clearly needs that preseason, we have a big gap in the midfield
2. Callum o'hare has neither been playing as a striker nor back in the midfield
3. The ref has been very soft

Blaster needs to come off, the pairing of peck/arblaster doesn't work same as last wk, once Soumare came on it was more balanced, so either philips or Rothwell.
I'd take COH off and put Cannon up with Bamford

But we haven’t taken our chances either when they’ve come. Hamer’s needed to be on the floor or in the top corner and Bamford would have scored if he had a right foot.

Yes we have players that are struggling, but you have to give credit where its due.

Boro look a good organised side.

They seem to be finding space down the sides and with balls fired through the centre to feet.

They are finding pockets of space all over the pitch.

They look much fitter and sharper.

We are just chasing shadows at the moment.

Having said that, we have had 2 good chances where a better finish on one and a good save on the other, have us 2 down.

This is truly woeful. Only variation in play is how many meaningless passes we make in defence before aimlessly hoofing to Bamford and conceding possession. On the other hand, Boro have the confidence and ability to play with the ball wherever, pass through the lines and drive at us. Men vs boys. Sad thing is I don't see how we change it

Has to be some miraculous half this next one!

Have to give credit to Boro. I’d argue on paper their players are not individually as good, Hackney excepted.

But to come to Bramall Lane and have 15 shots in the first half is good going.

They are not producing unenforced errors though like us. We just keep giving it away under no pressure. No better example when Gus played that ridiculous cross field pass in about minute one to put them on the attack.

It’s time Gus earns his money this half. Two absolute bangers will do!
