what has changed. because we look scared, has the Middlesborough game scarred them, have they caught finishing line itus.

because it scary the rot that has set in since that Middlesborough game, our short game has gone to pieces, as we are caught at back too often because there scared to pass it forward & then when opposition press us after weve gone back 30yds, they get scared of losing it & just lump it forward aimlessly to opposition giving the ball.

we look like a team that is terrified of losing & playing with the brakes on instead of going out to take the game to the opposition

Worst performance all season berge not got out of first gear. Man of match for me Mcburnie try his knacker of today play like this Sunday no Wembley. Not bothered play like they did before Xmas after Sunday in league and take us up all forgot about the bad games

Just watched the extended "highlights". Didn't look the best game ever.

One of the worse home matches I've seen in years regards entertainment.
The 1st half was a total borefest with both teams seemingly happy to go in 0-0 at half-time, reminded me of a Nigel Clough 1st half where nothing happens as though our gameplan was to save energy and not even try in the 1st half, deliberately saving our energy for the 2nd half.
Neither goalie touched the ball, it was like watching 2 boxers just jabbing each other from distance with little power, no intent or workrate.

The 2nd half we (as expected) upped the tempo slightly, however Luton scored out of the blue, their only shot on target in the whole match.
I said at the time, this game desperately needed a goal and at least United would finally show some urgency and push numbers forward attacking the Kop
but there was little reaction from our players. Luton pinched a goal and then just shut up shop, they concentrated on defence and made no effort to score a second goal.

We attacked but never looked like scoring at any point, the body language, quality, effort and confidence was shockingly low.
We really looked like a nervous, almost frightened relegation threatened team and in the end it was a really comfortable win for a very organised but basic Luton side.
