I’m convinced Wilder’s team selection on Weds was influenced by him not wanting a crap performance today (thus avoiding any unfavourable comparisons between the Selles Ipswich game & his own). Otherwise, why would you not have fielded today’s team then against a team we had a far better chance of getting the 3 points needed to keep our slim hopes alive?

Do they ever talk about Blades? Rarely get the chance to listen to Radio Sheffield and only get it whenever there's a match not streamed internationally. Almost always hear Pederson droning on, then lots of filler music, barely any Blades chat.

My concern with the selection is that he appears to have decided to match the opposition (and/or shoehorn both O'Hare and Hamer into the side), rather than stick with 4-4-2, which has, unless I'm mistaken, produced our best performances.
Memory fails me, but I'm sure he did this recently and it failed.
