Quina? Thought Morris was the only Barnsley player worth a full scout report.

see we plummeted down to 5th

Its that time of year when pressure buckles a few
Think West Brom blown it and it's only 8th upwards foe 3rd 4th 5th and 6th
It’s the 3 below us we need to look out for.

I know you’ll quote some bollocks stats to tell me that we’ll probably win the league but we still need to hope QPR, Forest and Boro slip up a few times.

We have to make the most of having 5 of the 8 left at home
forests game in hand should have been Fulham away today. they all have to win more than us . draws won't cut it

2 weeks without a game has arrived when we need it most to get at least some players back

Think Millwall West Brom and Middlesboro won't overcome poor away records especially with more away than home games left

It’s going to be an up and down 8 games for us, that’s all I know.

My money at the moment is on us just missing out on the play offs.

If we get Basham, Baldock, Davies, Goode all available then we’ve got a much better chance. If Sharp is injured we’re fucked.

it is that simple ...win 5 of 8 and draw 1
just keep those clean sheets at home coming
conceded 2 goals in last 10 home games....that's the way to do it
Stats are stats, games are games. We’ll see what happens. I can quote stats forever but it means sod all about the future.

I hope Hecky starts looking to next season and looking to bring the young uns on
Don’t play McBurnie use Jebo
Start Ndyai up top
Give Seriki a role at 60 mins
Whether we make play offs or even go up
These guys need to be integrated into playing at the top level
That’s one way of looking at it for sure. However this squad has done enough to earn a play off place. Forget our play off history, because we need not fear anyone else in the top six at the end of the season.

Hecky has got his two players for every position, and probably a youngster primed for a slot just in case. Of course injuries can still test the players resolve, but with Billy out, McBurnie might get a chance to prove himself before seasons end.
It’s still possible for other players to get injured in the next 8 games, but another worry could be suspensions as we collect a few yellow cards in most games.

Promotion is still a real possibility, but that causes more problems than it solves. All the loan players go back to their parent clubs, and a reticent Prince refuses to splash PL cash, because he doesn’t really have a choice. Imagine another season propping up the league. That was pretty demoralising last time round.

No buyers for plucky northern club? Middle East is a big no on moral grounds. Russian billionaires are persona non grata right now, and Chinese/Asian money is probably tainted unless you are a Leics fan. I don’t like USA money. Too much leverage sold on.

I think the best Hecky can hope for is more glory in the Championship next season, however we get there. Dreams of reaching the EPL and chucking big money at it, are just that. Dreams.

The other thing we might face as supporters is the sale of players like, Egan, Baldock, Bogle and Jebbison. All could go to improve cash flow and all are replaceable, because we have 2 players for every position, and a youth/academy player waiting in the wings. The future is full of tough decisions that fans don’t get involved in.

It's no use trying to forecast how we would go on if we go up
none of us expected finishing 9th in 2020
Another factor would be to get up we would have to win the playoffs ..Ithat
would be an enormous confidence boost for fans and players. we are by the laws of probability due to actually turn up for a final and play well

whichever 3 teams we have to face theres no need to be throw up our hands and say we cant beat any of them. There nothing much between any of us

strange how pressure starts to grab teams

QPR take lead v posh today early on but after 60 minutes are 3-1 down so looks like we are staying in 5th spot

We both agree that the play offs are possible, and winnable. If we go up, my prediction is that the money will not be spent on keeping us there, and we will be relegated after one season.

For both predictions or beliefs I probably need my bumps felt. I’ve been a fan long enough to know better, but there it is. :)

Anyone who watched this via SUTV I complained to [email protected] and got my £10 refunded for the loss of stream and poor quality.

They said it was the EFL's fault.
