Well that's kin depressing.
One top centre back (big quick skillful) and he's in the last year of his contract.
If he goes we could need 3 or even more so no chance.
FFS offer a good long contract with say 10 mill release clause if still in Championship
Need top manager to inspire players like him about IMMEDIATE Prem return or it's a complete rebuild
NOT just best players Hamer Vini etc wanting out ASAP.
Sean Dyche, Ange Pop or possibly even Gerrard re Rangers success as footballers fall for a big name.
NOT that (largely) shit on the voting thread list.
ps Did anyone really think Selles (me Who?)

Dear God ,

That's not a pretty sight , that squad :

I'm terms of winning the Championship

1 goalie , Cooper
2 defenders , Burrows & Anel
4 MF , Hamer , Peck , Vini , CoH
1 striker , Campbell (60 mins)

If you're wondering about Wilder's legacy , there it is , in B & W

There are a full compliment of loanees to replace, regardless of their quality or impact, that's a number of bodies to replace.

There a lack of quality, experience and depth at CB, CM and CF. That's a lot of signings to find, quality and the type of which that will hopefully improve the starting XI.

There's a lack of players more suited to Selles' high tempo, high press style.

...and that's before any sales or departures.
Loads of work to do.

I’m guessing Selles & the owners are aware of all that

I wonder how much we’re saving not having Brewster to pay for ? £24 million over 48 months £500k a month plus wages

What?

We paid Liverpool for Rhian Brewster in 5no £3.75m instalments. The first would have been due when he first signed then they're usually every 6 months from there, meaning that his transfer fee should have been paid off by the middle of 2022. We got two points deducted because we defaulted on the last payment and didn't settle it for 9 months.

We'll be saving his wages which I'd guess were in the region of £20k per week (plus bonuses etc) and any sign-on fees spread over the contract: somewhere between £1m and £1.5m per year.

I thought the Prince took out a loan to pay for him which I’m guessing would be paid back monthly to the bank, as for wages it varies depending on who you talk to but a player of that value could have been on more some say £30-35k a week.

So I look here to reaffirm that Souza had two years left and I find Winston Smith has been here first.
Why look you say ?
Well some clown called Benjamin Bloom has said the fee for him is so low it he must be in the final year of his contract.

No it's just #sufc being third rate shite as usual.

Every record has been rewritten.webp

Thanks Foxy

Always interesting to see our starting point. Despite the comments so far in this thread, that looks a pretty good start point for a new manager. Certainly much better than 12 months ago, with Cooper, Burrows, Seriki, Peck, o'hare and Campbell all having done well, plus a bit of Championship quality cover added throughout . With 4 more loans to come, it's going to be crucial to get those right as that is likely to be where we can add real quality.
