My favourite United side ever, my favourite United season ever.

I was thirteen when we got promoted and I just remember coming out of the ground after the Watford game, the sun shining, and thinking life couldn't possibly get any better.

Oh yes it could!

That was my first season too, I was 8 so wasn't allowed to go to the Cardiff night game, school and all that, but my Dad rang from a phone box to tell us we'd won 5-1.

Fantastic memories, polar opposite to what's just gone but hopefully we will see a little bit of that spirit next season, we can but hope!

Thanks for the memories. Still recall that Watford match, getting the nod from my old man to run on the pitch from the Bramall Lane end and celebrating in front of the old John Street stand. This was my first proper season and with 11 year old naivety , I thought it would be like this forever!

I agree only went to home games being 12 myself. Could we do the same this season?
