What's the Spurs reaction to these sort of comments from Blades? Is our confidence that we could nick it more understood following the first leg, or is the feeling still that you will do the job? The comments I've seen from both sides appear to be well balanced, small amounts of confidence and pessimism but mostly an expectation that it will be very tight and probably decided by a single goal (at most!).

The reactions are mixed as you might expect. Some are of the opinion that Spurs should be able to put a division one ream away no problem
Others are more wary as the saw last week that the Blades matched Spurs on our own patch.

For some reason, I'm bizarrely proud of this:
When we last faced Arsenal at our Lane in the Premier League we defeated them 1-0 and the noise from that game was the highest Sky had ever recorded. They had to turn several pitch-side microphones off.
Jags in goal and Christian Nade bullying the Arsenal back-line as if they were children. Amazing night.

Good answers generally though. Honest responses without sounding cocky or disrespectful. More than anything, hope it's a good game and we don't just get spanked. Obviously would love a win, but if we go out after a tight one I think most of us would be happy enough considering the quality of the team we'll be playing.

I'd certainly wish Spurs luck the rest of the season, but here's hoping it all goes completely fucking wrong for you tonight!!

Funny isn't it, me too. I often wonder if the Lane is actually that loud or whether it's an urban myth which has got out of hand. All I know is when we score sometimes I wonder if my ears might bleed as they hurt so much
