As some of you may know my mum (debbyblade) was diagnosed with breast cancer at the beginning of 2008 but fortunately it was treatable. After nearly a year of treatments and care she is now free from cancer. This was thanks to many charities and organisations that help people who are suffering or have suffered from cancer.
Because of the care my mum got I want to give something back. I have set myself the target of running the Sheffield Half Marathon on the 26th April in order to raise funds for the charity that helped my mum the most.
She said that Cavendish Cancer Care helped her the most because it gave her a lift and made her feel better about herself during the treatment.
