The trouble is, if every club that the expert pundits declare “will be fine this season” actually are fine... Well, no bugger would get relegated.
p.s. This team would batter Colin's team in every aspect
Yeah and the pundits after the Arsenal game said we’d stay up. Because they can’t predict the future any more than we can. We’ll probably stay up, we might not. Shit happens. The trouble is, if every club that the expert pundits declare “will be fine this season” actually are fine... Well, no bugger would get relegated.
As much as i loved that team, this team pisses all over it in my opinion. Would've loved to have seen a prime jags in this team mindThe 2006/2007 team with CW/AK at the helm would have been pretty fucking good in my opinion!
I'd probably replace Norwood with Monty too.As much as i loved that team, this team pisses all over it in my opinion. Would've loved to have seen a prime jags in this team mind
Shearer and Murphy are two of the better pundits around at the moment.

9 points from these exact fixtures is just about on target for staying up
Think Kabba would have a field day with amount of chances we create anorlI'd probably replace Norwood with Monty too.

In another one off match and one after that one this team would beat Warnocks. This team is better than the 2006-07 team.
But I think in a one off match Warnock's team would beat this team.

Not if Warnock's team was playing away.......haven't we already got more away points than the whole of the 2006/2007 season?
Off the top of my head I think we got 11 points from away matches in 2006-07.
Newcastle 0-1 Blades
Manchester City 0-0 Blades
Watford 0-1 Blades
Wigan 0-1 Blades
Charlton 1-1 Blades
I’m not certain and I know you’ll put me straight nuddy if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure we only scored another 4 goals away from home, on top of the ones you mention?Off the top of my head I think we got 11 points from away matches in 2006-07.

That just made my eyes bleed.I'd probably replace Norwood with Monty too.
It's all looking pretty good to me. The only fly in the ointment was the Southampton game where we deserved 3 points - or 1 at least.
Didn't deserve the win.
You could look at Liverpool and Leicester games too where we dropped a point. So 12 points is about where we should be given our match play. Which would put us 7th!!
But we didn't deserve to beat Everton on the balance of play. We are about where we deserve to be right now I think.
My memory tells me we only won one away match that season, Nuddy, at Newcastle.Off the top of my head I think we got 11 points from away matches in 2006-07.

You memory is terrible, Nuddy wasn't even playing for us.My memory tells me we only won one away match that season, Nuddy, at Newcastle.
But I could be wrong.
You are. You don’t even remember the large number of posts last week about Webber’s last minute winner against Watford last time we played them in the PL.My memory tells me we only won one away match that season, Nuddy, at Newcastle.
But I could be wrong.
