Shea. Shea Charles,I bet they’re penning a song about it already.
Was never going to happen, not in the same season.
Not convinced he’s what we needed anyway, Souza is levels above as a DM, Blaster levels above as an all round player…maybe to cover but added little to our group over Peck/Davies
Shea Charles is staying at Sheffield WednesdayI think CW has paused the Chaudhery deal to try and get Charles.
He fits the criteria perfectly as he is young and ambitious with bags of potential and could've been coached and developed into a top PL holding midfielder at a fairly low level fee.
All conjecture on my part of course but looking medium term if Vini decides to cash out we could have had a midfield of Blaster, Peck, Davies, Charles (hopefully in the Prem or if not Champ)
I saw one presser where he also said he wanted players to be ready to go, again not verbatim but along those linesChris Wilder said, at the start of the transfer window, he wasn't looking to bring in young loan players (we have JRS and Alfie G already), but rather experienced lads who knew what needed doing, not lads that are learning on the job, or some words like that. I am sure someone can find the interview.
I am sure he was just winding the Pigs up, and didn't plan on having another 21 year old come in, when we have a bench full of our own youngsters.
Yes I realize that and I think that crossing the divide and all the animosity that goes with it may have been a major factor in his decision.Shea Charles is staying at Sheffield Wednesday
Well Chansuri got his own back and hurt Southampton, oh wait…….I saw one presser where he also said he wanted players to be ready to go, again not verbatim but along those lines
It was far from a wind up. It was something which started as a what if and grew into discussions with Southampton. It’s fairly common knowledge, even amongst piggies that he was recalled because of Chansiri, the timing of the recall being during their fans forum and then Southamptons desire to find another club to send him to.

Could just be pigflation of course.I’ve seen messages from Chansiri saying the loan fee was in to the millions and it shouldn’t have been that.
It wasn’t easy to tell through his broken English but I’m assuming that’s for the full season, but it read like it was “some millions” (direct quote) for the second half,
Don't think it helped that the pigs tactic seemed to be bypassing midfield to get it wide to GassamaThank fuck we never signed this kid. Absolutely shite in both derbies - stood and watched as Peck, Arblaster, Chodhury, Souza and any one of our midfielders played around him. Bullet dodged.

I wonder if he was a victim of their tactics being a bit off. They didn't get the game plan right and didn't look up for it.Thank fuck we never signed this kid. I saw Wilder having a word with him at full time and mentioning in the pre match presser that we were close to signing him. Maybe we'll revisit in the summer? Wilder seems to be a fan
I agree but how much would players "better" than Hamer and Souza be, they're both £20m players surely so we are definitely gonna have to be better at scouting next year.Hopefully giving him some stick! If we go up we're going to have to look for better proven players because we can't have Hamer and Souza being our star men again in that division.
I agree with this criticism - yes, people that spend extra on an iPad are all fools. Android for life.Another Rohl innovation fresh from his iPad
