The weirdest thing though was a Wednesday fan asked about the possibility of strengthening the side during the transfer window and he actually said

The football side is all down to Danny Rohl and he hasn’t approached me regards targets so it’s not my fault if the manager won’t communicate with me.

He said he had no problem with Rohl and wish he would contact him about players he might want. A fan said maybe Chansiri should make the 1st move. Chansiri refused and said it’s up to the manager to contact him, as the last time they spoke was in December.

He also said Darren Moore loved having a chat and they would speak at least once a week so he doesn’t understand Rohls lack of communication. He even suggested it might be a breach of his contract.

So it sounds like there’s been a serious relationship breakdown between Rohl and Chansiri with some suggesting that maybe Rohl wanted to speak to Southampton and after permission was refused Rohl heart isn’t in the SW job anymore.

For once Chansiri speaks sense.It is about the "TEAM"

His statement falls on its arse though because they look more often disjointed and can't defend properly.

So they're either not intelligent enough to stick to the sausage plan,or plain shite.
I'm picking both options 😁.

Unbiased of course in a bantery kinda way but as a team,🤔pfft.

According to Wiki it was the same calendar year but different seasons. Close though 👍

The conspiracy theory is that Southampton have already done a deal with Rohl. They expected him to join them but Chansiri made it clear he wasn’t allowed to speak to Southampton and the compensation would be really high.

Apparently the comp figure drops considerably in the Summer so a compromise solution was for Southampton to appoint a new manager on
a short term contract up to the Summer 2025 then they take Rohl at the end of the season paying a small amount of compo.

Probably explains why there’s a relationship breakdown between Rohl and Chansiri. He’s done so much for SWFC but his dream move to the Premier league has been blocked and Chansiri hasn’t shown him any love or recognition regards a pay rise or showing ambition regards new signings.

He is on a 18 month contract so till summer 26

And set in a manky warehouse amongst boxes of unsustainably fished canned Tuna,an assortment of rusty buckets, a flying pig and a myriad of photos in the background of all the successful managers they've had during Chancers' reign.
To complement it, the opening sequence would obviously be Duffy entering the pitch,the now defunct bouncing song followed by that glorious stunned silence as Duffy turns the spinning 'van -thingy' inside out,before rippling their net with the goal "he had no right to score".

I would definitely be up for co-writing some episodes for that.And there's patently enough talent on here to layer up the comedy🥳
We could also put to bed forever their pathetic argument for calling us "Pigs".

What would we call it? "Chancer of a Lifetime " "Deludemol's Revenge" "Massive"🤔🤩

Sounds like there’s a personal feud between SWFC and Southampton and I reckon it started when Chansiri refused permission for Rohl to speak to them.

According to one poster, Southampton had done a deal with Rohl. If so, Chancer has every right be angry if he hadn’t given permission. Apparently it’s a theory though.

Neither coming out of this looking good.

There’s definitely something there he edged up to speaking about that several times but then backed off because he’d be told not to talk about it for legal reasons.

If there is a falling out I suspect it’s a bit one sided yeah I’m sure Southampton were/are a bit miffed but they’ve got bigger concerns. Chansiri on the other hand as we know takes everything personally he no doubt now sees this as a personal vendetta
