Stating the obvious I know but Chansiri’s behaviour here is just making it more likely Charles comes to us IMO. The football world is very aware that the owner is a lunatic and while Charles may be enjoying it at Wednesday the prospect of dealing with a different team instead will be very attractive to other parties involved in the deal and for the player I can’t imagine it would be too difficult to twist his arm to play for a club in the same city but actually challenging for the title.

There’s an argument it’s common sense.

What’s the point going through the whole circus with the club only to find out the guy isn’t even interested?

Radio Sheffield said last night in the run up to the match that he’s gone for a scan and they’re waiting on the results. Whilst that’s not confirmation that he’s out long term it sounds like it’s more than a knock

Wilder initially said Davies is out at least 2 or 3 games, so it didn’t sound too serious
But I’m sure he said the same, downplaying the Vini Souza and Campbell injuries.

So when Wilder says out for 2 or 3 matches, it probably means out at least 2 months.
To be fair….players are probably fit enough to come back…..but we should be giving Davies as much rest as possible, gently easing him back.
 
Would like to see him here not only to piss off yunno who but he would be a great addition to the squad only on a permanent though. Don't see him coming on a permanent, not yet. Maybe end of the season if we get promoted.

Laughed at that too. The guy who posted it also claimed that Southampton were due to appoint someone, citing his source as someone in the Southampton media team who then wasn't appointed 🤣

Also claimed the previous loan agreement for Wednesday and Southampton included a clause that Wednesday had an obligation to sign him for 20 million UP FRONT(!) if they got promoted

So it's down to Southampton, depends how the interactions went between the clubs with Bbd
I suspect they'll want him to go to a club challenging for promotion? better preparation for the lad ready for next season plus his value will go up if he does well with us and we'd like to take him permanently

I'm already imagining the gloating being wildly disproportionate to the achievement. It'll be as if they've done the double over us, repeated boxing day and pipped us to promotion in the playoffs all in one go.
