And there goes your argument!
Just out of interest, are you 10??
It isn't real, if it was, don't you think there might be, just a bit of blood maybe.......?You obviously know nothing about wrestling.
Go and run the ropes in a wrestling ring and take a few body slams.
You'd not be able to walk for a week.
Foley approves...
Is wrestling CGI then? Have you actually seen some of the stunts they do? Like jumping off the top of a 20 foot structure through a desk?
It's all staged, ergo, it's fake.I agree, it is a form of acting, it isn't fake though.
I think it’s called sports entertainment to get around tax in the US.Wrestling is a carefully choreographed entertainment performed by skilled athletes in a physical condition most of us can only hope of attaining. As an entertainment it is passable. A sport it is not.
It isn't for a lot of people, and that's fair enough. I haven't watched it myself for quite a few years now cause I'm not bothered about it any more. It's all staged, ergo, it's fake.
I can see how people find it entertaining, as it's a show really, but it isn't for me.
Wrestling is real.
They're not holograms.
It’s the politics of it all that interest me. Why certain talent is pushed etc. That’s the angle we talk about on our podcast. It’s more interesting when you look behind the curtain! It isn't for a lot of people, and that's fair enough. I haven't watched it myself for years cause I'm not interested any more.
I don't agree that it's fake though. These guys & girls put their body on the line 5/6/7 days a week. They perform some incredible, painful stunts, as per the one I posted above. It might be scripted, but it bloody hurts.
What's your podcast? I don't actually watch it anymore but it still sounds like something I might be interested in.It’s the politics of it all that interest me. Why certain talent is pushed etc. That’s the angle we talk about on our podcast. It’s more interesting when you look behind the curtain!
That's because people who don't like wrestling always throw about this ridiculous nonsense that it's gay.
It's entertainment. They're professional athletes. Some of the stuff they do is incredible and they put their bodies on the line doing it.
If people don't like it then that's fine, but there's no need for all this bullshit saying it's gay, or people that watch it are gay.
I never said it was a sport. You're absolutely right in what you say. That’s fair enough. Let’s not kid ourselves though, that it’s anything other than a scripted, rehearsed circus with the results determined in advance. One thing it most certainly is not and that’s a sport.
Do you want me to report you missing?
What's your podcast? I don't actually watch it anymore but it still sounds like something I might be interested in.
I'm assuming you heard that infamous CM Punk podcast a few years ago? Can't remember the name of the guy who it was with......
Considering it’s clearly Baldock he socked I’d be worried if it wasI bet enda is out next game with foot and gob disease.
That's the one. Yeh they were really good.Colt Cobanas art of wrestling was the podcast he was on. Great 2 episodes those.
Ours is called Staring at the Lights. It’s on apple podcast, Spotify etc.
Don't know if anyone replied but it was Baldock and depending on where he pulled the sock from, it could ve more serious than foot and gobI bet enda is out next game with foot and gob disease.
Wrestling is real.
Nice one mate. It’s quite laid back. That's the one. Yeh they were really good.
I'll have a look for yours mate and try and find some time to have a listen!
