This goal, and celebration, was Billy's great big FUCK YOU ALL to the doubters and the naysayers. The lad is a goalscorer and always has been. Give him enough chances and he'll put a lot of them away.

If anyone's looking for passion, Stearman was giving it plenty towards the Kop at the end. Looks a leader to me.

I had to look twice to make sure it was actually Stearman, very refreshing and I think he'll be as influential as Jake Wright was last year. If for any reason he doesn't play Wright can step in so we're not in a bad place at all.
