Sharp has got to go for it.

By my reckoning he’s on 214 league goals and needs 219 to equal Rickie Lambert. I just can’t see him scoring more than a hat-trick against the Wendies so that means he’ll need 2 against Forest to set himself up for the money shot on the 9th.

How good would that be!

What's the significance in regards to equalling Lambert? Not being obtuse or anything here. I know Lambert bagged plenty in the football league but is that some sort of record for goals below Premier League or something?

So either a brace or a trick in every game then ?

72 goal season for the fat lad !!!!!!

Some folks ;)

Oh, and one more! :D With being subbed, coming on as sub. Billy has averaged just 71 minutes on the pitch on each of his 14 appearances.

he'll be straining at the leash for the derby game vs the S6.. seeing as he didn't play last season. has he ever scored for 'us' vs the S6 Massive?.. i'm not sure he has

Sharp is averaging a goal every 91 minutes in the league this season or every 87 minutes in all games.

Just imagine the scenes if he scored a hatrick against them. London Road would be a pedestrianised zone for a week.

Where are all those "fans" who said he was too old and needed replacing? (Come on - own up guys!)

("Beating Heart - bench at your peril")

Are you all forgetting January sales soon ... Baby Shark to Chris Wilders Stoke City... Its the Blades way...

Can we repeat the 2-4 drubbing of them last season, or could we go one better!??

Scored for Donny against em. Twas on my birthday.

Thanks Skipper.

A couple more fun facts from Billy (league only):

Saturday was the 39th consecutive game where Billy has scored and the Blades haven't lost.

Billy's goals v Wigan meant United have won all of the last 20 games where Billy has scored.

Stat question from me. He’s up their with the league goals total since 2000, but given he has very few hat-tricks (only 3 in his career) and probably not a crazy number of doubles might he be the record holder for number of games scored in since 2000?
