It cuts a trend as we usually sell the fuckers when they’ve scored 10 to 20 goals in a season, or even half a season. :)

Pig fan at work just told me "Sharp and Clarke are wank, they just play well for your lot"!?

He then informed me that "Jordan Rhodes is far better than both of them, and he'd easily have beat Sharp's record, if he hadn't gone to Middlesbrough", he also said, "Rhodes just isn't good enough for our squad, or he'd have scored 30 or 40 while he's been an owl"!!!

Obviously knows his stuff......................:confused:

Correct! Billy has 88 League goals and 4 in League Cup:

25/9/07 3rd Round (H) Morecambe 5-0 - Sharp (2), Shelton (2), Hendrie
11/08/09 1st Round (H) Port Vale 1-2 - Sharp
14/8/18 1st Round (H) Hull City 1-1 - Sharp (lost 4-5 on pens.)

and 3 in FA Cup:

13/1/09 3rd Round (A) v. Leyton Orient 4-1 - Halford (2), Sharp, Naughton
26/2/09 5th Round replay (A) Hull City 1-2 - Sharp
27/1/18 4th Round (H) Preston 1-0 - Sharp

and the last time he scored 30 for us in a season.....well......you know the rest.......

I would imagine that captaining the Blades to the biggest promotion in our history (in terms of how much it is worth), would be priceless to him, and the only thing that could beat it, would be kicking off, as Captain, on the first day of the new season.

Hahaha hahaha, he is a total font of knowledge.
I didn't want to burst his bubble, so I listened, and held in my laughter, which took some doing let me tell you!!

"We should go up this season now, we just needed the right manager.
He'll bring in some good players and we could even finish top 2, cos Leeds and Norwich are falling away, and United are shit, they won't finish top 10, they'll crumble second half of the season!",
So I asked him who Bruce was buying, he said, "it'll be 2 or 3 good players", so I said, "So when does Bruce takeover then??", He says, and you'll like this....."He's there now!!", I said, "oh, I didn't think it had been announced yet", the reply, "it has, he's manager now!".
At this point I couldn't hold my laughter anymore, even the other pigs were laughing, and attempting to point out that he was wrong, and trying to point out the actual facts, that he wasn't starting until February 1st.
At this point, I also pointed out to them all, that this was after the transfer window had shut, so he probably wouldn't be bringing in any players, as Despot was realistically trying to avoid FFP.
After a lot of muttering, and not much response, everybody returned to work.
I've had an amusing day at work today!!!:eek::D
