just buy him - that’s all.

He’s too good for Stoke and would be better off in Sheffield.

Running water, electricity, etc.

Shaqiri I mean!

Shouldn’t this be in the “Hilarious “ Rumours thread? :D
Yep probably! I think I was dreaming when I posted that one. I see Spurs, Liverpool and Everton are all chasing him. Dream over!

He lapped the applause up from us when he went off in the Stoke friendly last year.

For that reason alone this deal is a certainty.

Welcome to BDTBL Shaqqa :D

yep, that's what I thought too. Last time I saw an opposition player get applauded like that was when Steve Kabba played for Palace at the Lane. Soon after we went and bought him.

For the record, I was clapping like a seal waiting for a fish when I saw Oztumer play against us.

Did you see that goal of his tonight? Telled yer we should have signed him! His value just increased by £43 million!

100% Swiss beef!
Born in SFR Yugoslavia.

That goal against Serbia would've meant a lot to him, the celebrations of Xhaka and Shaqiri were Albanian nationalist symbols, so it probably means he'll get a ban by FIFA for it.

Didn’t realise that- thanks.

I thought his celebrations were a bit over the top, but I suppose I would be excitable if I scored a goal like that in a World Cup match - the nearest I got to that was a 30 yard volley with my left foot against Stavely Miners Welfare in the Eskimo Foods Challrnge Trophy.

What is this “howling at the moon” gesture though? Is this going to set the tone for a new set of lunatic celebrations this coming season? I sincerely hope not! I prefer the subtle goalscoring gestures myself, like a raised arm and forefinger and a smile, to indicate, “ that was my goal and I’m pleased and proud” rather than ripping off the shirt and exhibiting the fruits of excessive hours in the gym and protein shakes in a show of human invincibility.

Thought Kabba played for Grimsby on loan from palace.
Thats right.
As he was going off my mate asked me who it was.
I said I didn't know but that he was on loan.
My mate said "Who from? Barcelona?!"
We clapped him off out of relief he was going off :D
