Mr McCabe - if this is the "Blades Way",then it's fucking crap.Selling our best players for peanuts, concentrating more on a Hungarian 2nd Division outfit,a set of Australians playing in a league that's the equivalent of the Conference, and some team in a Chinese backwater, than the actual club the name Sheffield United is built on,and putting your faith, firstly in a drunk, and now a man that will always be a number two to take your "beloved Blades" back to the Premiership....its simply not good enough.
Give us a team that play football that is both entertaining and productive,a team in traditional red & white stripes and black shorts (no derivatives),a man at the helm that will get us success and keep us there, and most of all, some pride in our club - it's not much to ask for,is it?
I posted the following almost 2 years ago after the debacle of the piggy double, and it's worse now than then.
We've now got fuck all. It seems that the Blades way is looking forward to playing Yeovil next season in front of 8000.
If anybody close to the club is reading this,it's time to grow some bollocks, man up,find the right man for the job (and fuck the expense by stopping being so fucking tightfisted),and sort out this mess before you find yourself in a half empty ground.
And Kevin - if you're a man of integrity, admit you're not interested anymore - stop living a lie.

Look at the date on that posting- December 28th 2010. At the end of that season,Teddy was well and truly thrown out of the pram,as both my father and I , with the best part of over 80+ Years of support between us - over 20 as season ticket holders- decided we would not renew. It didn't take a weatherman to know what way the wind was blowing. It was an ill wind , and enough was enough. I thought by staying away,it might give lift any curse I might have put on the club by me being there.
Up to March of the following season,it looked like I might have been proved right as we were cruising towards an automatic return. Then, again in time honoured tradition, our season collapsed following the conviction of our main striker,to which we had no replacement. What was to happen at Wembley was predictable in our tragi-comedy history, and proved to be the final straw.
2 and a half years later since the original posting, and every ounce of passion I had for my club has been wrung out and nothing has changed. In fact, if anything,it is worse than then. We have a threadbare team full of journeymen and loanees,a smattering of kids with a modicum of skill, who at the first sign of a cheque book, will be offered to the lowest bidder,a manager who seemingly cannot motivate, and again, has no plan B (how many more fucking times? Warnock,Blackwell,Speed and Adams all were liable) , and a chairman who's simply not interested. I could cry for how my team has been allowed to decline since the days of the Premiership, but I can't even seem to rouse myself to that.
These truly are the wilderness years for Sheffield United. And I worry what is around the corner. But because the virus that is lack of ambition, drive and determination (from those at the highest level within the club) seems to have infected me, I feel that I'd be simply wasting my energy by raising a voice.
To narrow it down...
Wilson - leave now whilst you still have a modicum of respectability. You seemingly have lost the dressing room and the jury is still out re your tactical skills re: your acquisitions in the loan and transfer market (Cofie,Poleon?)
McCabe/Board - Either put up,or seriously consider offers for your holdings within the club. If you care about your team, allow fresh money, ideas, and people with football and business acumen to take the club forward instead of allowing to club to step closer to the trap door that is the bottom tier. At the moment,we are closer to playing at Sixfields than Anfield and you seemingly wish to ignore this.
