The suggestion earlier that we got Khadra for a steal which could suggest Brighton might have been paying a large percentage of his wages. Canos would be a cracking loan signing but I reckon it would be dependent on the parent club coughing up a high percentage of the wages

About 5 years ago Brentford played Villa on Sky. Grealish looked completely adrift, but Canos absolutely battered them, he looked like such a player back then, similar to how N'Diaye plays for us. Still surprised he never went to a bigger club, as he looked a great prospect.

i suspect if we sign anybody on loan in this window the parent club would have to pay the majority of that players salary but if its a deal with a view to buy in the summer like khadras deal was i think we would have a better chance

We just sent back one RW, I'm not sure we need to recruit another tbh. I know he's played wing back too, but not sure he can play anywhere for us except perhaps the Ndiaye position behind striker.

I'm certainly not against it, he is/was a talented and entertaining player.

Highly doubtful but we could really do with ownership certainty within the next couple of weeks. We potentially missing out on key signings that could see us over the line. I remember Bournemouth going for it in January last year to assure promotion, I dont think we need to go to those lengths but 1 or 2 quality incomings would see us promoted IMO

Would absolutely sign Canos if we got promoted, him and another loan for Mcatee would be great competition/a contrast in style from Berge.

He's 25 and a very gifted player who's tore it up at the top end of the championship and already had some great moments in the Prem.

Would love him at the Lane but given how tight money is there's little chance we will sign a player like him.

The glaring weakness is back up for McBurnie and that's where any money that is available should be spent

Do you know what kind of finances would be specifically needed in comparison to the Khadra deal in order to make this assumption? How do you know their wages aren't similar? How do you know Brentford wouldn't pay a higher percentage? How do you know any deal wouldn't be affordable for us?
