From today's BBC gossip column:

"Roma will have to go head-to-head with Real Madrid in the race to sign Tottenham and England defender Kyle Walker.

Presumably the negotiated clause will see United paying Spurs a percentage of the transfer fee?

In the old days of Turry it wouldn't have happened, however i seem to remember an interview with McCabe stating that any deal to sell our top players in the future would involve sell-on clauses.....whether it actually happened is another thing!

Strikers tend to cost more, although Walker being English should boost the price up, usually though when players move from England to say Spain its never as much as if it was to an English player going from a English club to and English club.
