For me we just looked more threatening with 4 in midfield, we've clearly got to try a change of system. Also Fleck and possibly Berge cannot keep underperformed to that level and keep the shirt.
I'd try..
Rammers (last chance)
Baldock Egan Robinson Stevens (last chance)
Bogle Lunny Amadu (last chance) Osborn
McGoldrick
Moose (if fit) if not Brewster

The whole team are on their last chance.

I want to like it (I think your reasoning makes complete sense) but a pairing of Egan/Robinson, and lunny/Ampadu sounds terrifying.

Our centre midfield (who ever plays) have lost virtually all ability to control a game by being a possession based football team (Wilders words)

The 5 that played on Sunday was probably the best we could put out (on recent form)

If the midfield players we've got can't start to influence a game - and we've done it very very rarely this season then we have absolutely no chance of staying in this division.

What it needs is the players we've got to discover/rediscover their form and start KEEPING the fucking ball more - and keeping it also means other players keeping it more including the two poor sods who play up top. Who ever they are, they are just as guilty and even with minimum balls they've had, they need to look after it better especially when we hoof it to McB.

Sunday was just a massive embarrassment even my missus who hates football is asking "what has changed from last season" and if she asks questions like that, then trust me, it's as bad as it gets.

We won't solve the problem in the JTW - the solution lies with who we've got and finding something from somewhere on the training ground at Shirecliffe.

We desperately need a win - it really is just like us to go and do Man Utd on Thursday.
