Anyone have issues with season tickets mine worked sons didn't ?

I went to the ticket office to collect our tickets bought and saw a few people who were there because their season ticket wasn't working

Unfortunately mine worked fine and I had to watch that excuse for a performance. ;-)

We had the ball for about 70 minutes and created almost nothing of note.

We conceded 4 or 5 dangerous chances in the 10 minutes Brum had the ball.

(10 minutes was lost by ref not dealing with time wasting).

It only cost me about £200 as a senior with refund for missed covid matches but I'll be wanting my money back if we get many more performances like that! FFS! XD

75% possession and 100% useless.

Our Jack's didn't work, but only because I mistakenly gave him his 2016/7 members card instead of his ST. Oops. Ticket office kindly gave him a ticket when they realised he was a current ST holder.

It's always the same first game which is a massive ball ache. My advice: get there early.

Even leaving the bluenoses out of the equation it will probably more like 15,000, as the rest will have arrived late at the ground only to discover that their season tickets don't work at the turnstiles due to a club IT cock up.
You were warned 🤣

Mine worked eventually but took ages to the annoyance of those behind.

It's the same card I've always had so maybe an age thing.

Thinking of popping down this week and querying whether I need a new one.

They sent me a replacement out a few weeks ago - issue 11, and I had no probs.
My son is still on issue 10 and he had problems, so perhaps they all should have been replaced.

Bettis said on sutv build up that it was the most ever sold for us in the championship.

Crashed the machines clearly.

I was half expecting a new card this time because a few I know said they had had replacements

Tried four turnstiles that did not work , mind you i was trying to get in the S/S via West stand entrance , migrated from the kop [not on a boat it`s not the sty ) , everyone seems old in S/S

You have to swipe your season ticket on the green light bit instead of putting it in the slot to get it to work quickly.

The slot reads the barcodes on printed tickets.

First I put my season ticket in the slot, then on the green light, then back in the slot, then back to the green light..waved it around a bit then it worked.

Judging from the slowness of the queue.…..think others were doing the same.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could scan out season ticket into our electronic wallet or store card wallet and just use a phone at the turnstile

Is it really any easier pulling your phone out of your pocket instead of your wallet? I can't see that it would make much difference.

Some people don't always carry their wallet with them, if you can scan your season ticket on your phone & pay for any transport/food/drink with your phone then why bother carrying a wallet at all?

more and more I’m leaving my wallet at home. On a couple of occasions one of us has forgotten our card and had to go queue at ticket office explain, get ticket and probably miss some of the game.

Possibly more secure than a wallet these days.

That's fair enough. I don't have any of that pay on your phone stuff set up so didn't even think of it, good point well made.

They could just insert some sort of microchip or tracking device in us perhaps piggybacking it on some sort of inoculation of some kind...

Surely the early bird season ticket info isn’t far away? I know next season’s division is still unknown, but we have done it in the past before it was confirmed.

I'm impressed youve figured Google Pay out! 🤣🤣

Because if you lose or break your phone then you're fucked. At least if you have a wallet with you when losing your phone you can still pay for a taxi home or a comiseration kebab.

Cheek, I’ve come on in leaps and bounds. I can even turn my lecky blanket on while a sit downstairs and drink me coco. All my lights, security system, heating, car, pond, outside lighting etc are run from me mobile. Reyt hi-tech lazy bugger me. Only thing I need to do is find an app to redirect me golf ball once I’ve duffed it

I think that works both ways though, I've lost my wallet before, but I've never lost my phone (yet).

Then you use your phone as a backup to pay for things!

And if you lose both then it's your fault for drinking too much, innit 😂
Losing your wallet gives immediate access to your money, debit cards, drivers licence etc. at least with phone it’s locked and you can log on from anywhere and stop your cards in seconds.
