SUFC are (believe it or not) not a bank to bail people out of financial difficulties

Such a straw man. Nobody has said they think SUFC are a bank. Nobody has said they expect the club to bail them out financially.

wanting cash back this minute is never going to happen

Again, nobody has said they want a refund "this minute", in fact, the only posts on this thread before you waded in calling people "arseholes" were people saying they'd accept free cup tickets or a price freeze for the next two years. The conversation then deviated to whether people are "arseholes" for wanting a refund because you diverted the conversation in that direction!

SUFC liable to refund train or travel tickets

You are literally just making things up now! Nobody said that either. I think we can all agree that SUFC are not liable for train/travel expenses.

I just wish people would stop fucking whinging all the time

As do I, especially you!

That could be said for the self employed who seem to be the ones who cry the most when the money isn't coming in, you can tell who they are on this thread ha ha, should have put a bit aside for a rainy day and not had that third holiday abroad or bought that big flash car on the driveway that they can't really afford to run still it looks good to the neighbours.
I bet when this is all over some will put a bit more through the books and pay their tax on it you know enough to last them a few months if they can't work rather than trousering the majority of what the make.

You seem to have some sort of unresolved issue with your self-employed brother-in-law that you're bizarrely projecting onto posters on here. I'll be honest, it's a bit mental!

We should be given options on any refund.

Defer it and it comes off your next ticket.
Decline it, if you don't need the cash.
Store credit, to spend within the club shop.
Next years home shirt FOC and a month early..

If they did this it would sort out a lot of the problem, some will want a cash refund and there's nothing wrong with that, we must remember not everybody can just afford to lose the value of the entertainment they paid for..

No live games for fans till Xmas, rumoured on talksport as I type this.. God knows when it will return to "normal"

Metalblade. You seem to have an issue with the self employed as if they all have big houses and flash cars.I myself am self employed, in construction. Not by choice because it is virtually impossible in my line of work to be employed on the books. We are paid a wage on their terms as anyone on P.A.Y.E and a deduction of 20% tax is taken off each wage which we have to wait till the end of the tax year to apply for overpayment. In return we cannot claim sick money and do not qualify for the furlough agreement. So please do not tar all self employed with the same brush.

Buying one or not?.....asking for Bettis!

My guess is whoever the next manager is will have a fairly significant impact on sales...oh and how good a job the vaccine is doing too !

I’ll get one, despite my upset at Wilder going. because I support the club.

Maybe things will be good again. Maybe they won’t and I can just leave each game well before the final whistle to go to the pub.
