Does anybody know how many we've sold for next season? I've seen a 'low' of 16k up to a 'high' of 20k.

Even if it's the lower estimate, this makes for interesting reading:

Leeds United say they will honour a promise to partially refund fans who bought season tickets for 2016-17 if they miss out on the play-offs.

Barring a 14-goal swing in the final round of fixtures, Garry Monk's side will now finish outside the top six.

Fans who bought a season ticket for the Championship club before the end of May 2016 will get 25% of their money back.

The club had pledged to give refunds of 50% if they sold 15,000 tickets, but they did not reach that number.

Leeds have not finished in the top six of the second tier since 2006.

Hmm. How the 'mighty' are fallen. :)

Have you seen how much they charged though???

Remortgage time if you're a Leeds fan!!

I'm almost certain without proof of course that Leeds will have sold more than 15,000 ST in the 2016/17 season.

It will be interesting to see if we sell any more season tickets after last nights result, after all, if the club give the BL end to away fans and we still have silly segregation gaps there won't be that many tickets left and I suspect demand might exceed supply for a few key games.

Also interesting last nights attendence at sty was allegedly 32k with a few thousand from udders yet our last home game was 31k with a few hundred from chessie. Not so massive over there now, eh, never was.

It was vital Wendy didn't get up as their ST prices and matchday prices are ridiculously expensive. We've really built up a lot of support with youngsters in the city and our attendances reflect the number of Blades who bring along their kids or youngsters who've grown into adult Blades.

If Wendy went up I suspect the draw of the PL would see the floating support switch over to the dark side!

Last night was listed as a sell out

Due to segregation and having their capacity lowered. I think it now stands at something like 33,600

Another couple of seasons at the rust bucket and it will be a lower capacity than the Lane :D

Quite so. For, as we all know,

Listed as a sellout but there were plenty of seats empty behind the poles. Wasn't a seat spare on our kop for the chezzie game:)

At the "Evening with the Champions" event on 3rd May, Martin Green one of the directors stated SUFC had sold 15,000 STs. He also said that Kevin McCabe's target was 18,000, so I imagine somewhere in between that amount.

My guess is in addition to season tickets doing well the membership scheme might do quite well next season as for a few key games members will snap up all spare tickets leaving none for general sale. Be a member or risk missing out. Any thoughts ?
