I think you might have invented the reason we sold Brooks. I’ve seen nothing credible to suggest it was because Wilder (who played Brooks consistently all last season) “didn’t like him”. Much more likely that we need to sell players for financial reasons; Brooks is a player other teams are willing to pay for; and (as a home grown player) the accounting profit from selling him is much greater than most of our other assets.I am seriously regretting renewing our season tickets after Brooks, player of the season, has left for one of our competitors because Wilder didn't like him. When Wilder first arrived as manager, he signed good players from lower leagues and got us promoted. Now he's determined to spend a lot of money on injury prone players simply because they used to be famous. Is it too late to get a refund? Or will I at least get a partial refund? I don't want to watch Wilder United anymore.
The pigs have just sold the most season tickets in their history, a “massive”, huge, whopping….21,500. Pathetic really when they are constantly touted as having incredible and huge support. We topped that figure regularly and on countless times over the past 20 years, and will again this season.I have renewed mine for the 50th plus years in a row as usual.
Not sure how many we have sold but i know a lot of people who have not renewed and I think it will be definitely well below las years sales.
For the first time in a while Dem Pigs will have sold more than us
