Leading on from this question and important in the how big a blade argument.

If you can't go, do you sell or give your ticket to someone else.

I am a giver myself :rolleyes::eek:

I always give, and I'm always more than happy if a couple of pints come my way in return.

Had a season ticket from 1991 up until 1998. Then had one from 2001 until 2004. Not had one since due to work/children. Will get another before my days are done I am sure.

Been going for about 27 years but had a break where I didn't have a season ticket between the age of about 12-14 so ticked the 16-20 years

I used to have a special card that meant I could get in the Kiddies Corner.

First game in 1977 just before my 10th birthday. First season ticket 1981/2 (first and best!) aged 14 starting a run of 29 years. Due to work and an expensive divorce I skipped the next 2 years ( still went to roughly half of the home games) then started back up again 2012/13. Probably go to more matches now than ever.

Been a Blade since the 70's but thanks to work, children, marriage and living away didn't get to see us regularly until "The Ched Season". They all got sorted, including the marriage :) so was able to start watching regularly.

So.....

the last 5 or so years are all my fault, sorry lads and lasses.

Hasn't been much fun for me either. :(

Started work in 1976 so started 76/77 once my old man stopped paying for me.
Didn't miss a season but jacked it in when Blackwell didn't get the boot in May 2010. By the time he'd gone, so had my seat!

Not bothered since.

First game 1976, had a season ticket for over 25 years and seasons like this make the many others of pain and despair worthwhile.

First full season was 74/75 and I've been every season since.
First child born June 86 so managed end of season and was back in August thanks to mother in law baby sitting.
Had second April 88 managed end of season then back for following seasons start in August.
Moved to Nottingham in 90 and still came up for the matches. Then complications set in.......my third was born in Dec 92...... Talk about bad planning ......oh she wasn't was she
Missed lots that season including the Wembley s/f against that other Sheffield team.
However....back again for August 93 and have only missed a few games since.

First match 75/76 season, been going ever since, even when we moved to Blackpool and had season tickets years now!

When I went on hols I used to pop my ST behind a plant pot and text a few people to see if they wanted to use it. But when we became distinctly rubbish I couldn't give it away so stopped asking. In fairness, that coincided with a lot of my old season ticket compadres having kids and drifting away too. Those buggers will soon be back with said kids, no doubt with iPads in hand. :)

Circa 1994-2016. I didn't have a season ticket the year we were relegated by Micky Adams though as I was out of the country for most of it.

Who's the BIGGEST BLADE?
No one. It's a binary answer are you a blade yes/no.

For me it's a yes! I've had a season ticket for around 40 years but my sons are as bigger blade as me and they have only had theirs around 20+ years.

Yes.

If I can't give 'em away then I sell them on here for a tenner. I'll never charge face-value out of principle because I believe the price is already too high.

I've sold twice on here already and will sell to whoever replies first.

ST for the last 35 years including 2 years when I lived in London.

Some great times but far too few for a club of our size. The biggest underperformers in football but hopefully better times are here to stay.

Season ticket holder again, from the Oldham game anyway! First year watching United 1975, first season ticket in Fourth Division season (BL upper), had 'um off and on ever since. Twenty five full season tickets and 3 1/2 season tickets. Protest against the board selling all the best players in '98 meant I didn't renew that season, but got an 1/2 st when Warnock took over. Didn't renew again in 2005 as a protest against Warncock mismanagement (but did buy a 1/2 season ticket 05/06 promotion season LOL). Didn't renew in 2013 as a protest against my self. Bloke who sat next to me started bringing his young 'un and I found myself apologising most of the time for swearing. Bought a 1/2 st this season, it'll be cheaper for a Championship st next season lol

have had a season ticket for as long as I can remember but very rarely attend games due to various other commitments. I've often wondered if I'm included in attendance figures when unable to attend. Can any of you shed any light on this issue?

I've had a season ticket since 1986/87 season, so coming up for 30 years.

Started on the Kop and then went in the South Stand for the first season back in the top flight under Harry in 90/91. Switched back to the Kop when it was seated in 91/92 and stayed there until going back in the South Stand in 2001/02. Been in the South ever since.

That will be me. Hope to introduce him at the end of the season :D

32nd season ticket for me this year, can't see me stopping now.
