Due to working round the country from around 18 years old until I moved back in 2004 (I am now 42), I have only had a season ticket since 2005 till now.

2005 to end of Blackwell season I was smashing my legs on the KOP.
After a spell in F, I am now in E in the South Stand behind the exec box and don't plan to move again.

Pretty close to where I sat then I think! Was row SS next to where the radio commnetators are.

I play for a Saturday team myself so never been able to get a season ticket. Just have to make do with getting to as many midweek home games as I can. Although postponements and gaps in the fixtures always mean I can get to the odd Saturday match :)

Since about 1985/6. Little BB (who's 12) is in his 7th season.

Just out of interest who are the long term season ticket holders on here, and who aren't.

This is the 14th consecutive season I've held mine and the 22nd out of the last 27 years I've held one, and I know there will be a lot more with a lot more time served than me.

21 this year, and this is my 20th consecutive season with a season ticket, also attend the away games when I can.

Started in '72. Dad had 3 ST's, he & Grandad had two & I alternated home games with big brother...sometimes got extra ticket & we all went.
Grandad passed away Oct'74 (corner of Hill St/John St coming out the match) so got to see all home matches after that.
Have seen off two brothers & a sister in that time who've all tried & failed to follow us to differing extents & lack of motivation....to be fair to little sis, she does still follow us but due to work/family she only seems to go to Wembley with us.
Moved on to The Kop late teens/early twenties & been there ever since.

First ST I bought was early 60's and cost me 21/- or a guinea in ancient parlance. And not only that it got you in the reserve games for free.

That's 5p a game in today's money folks, and I used to slide it under the exit gate once inside to my mate on the outside and he used to get in with it too. No digital scanning guff in them days to spoil the fun.

I used to buy one religiously every year as I was terrified of missing out on a ticket if we got to the FA Cup final. It took me more than 15 years of blind faith before I learned any better and it was only when Div 4 loomed that i was able to rationalise a little better. Don't bother with 'em now, POTD and pick and choose my games (but still see more than I miss)!

30 odd years for me, but I don't exactly know. Went every week before the season ticket, just couldn't afford the outlay. :)

Intermittent but increasing quid-a-kid attendance from 1995.

My first season ticket was 2000/01 and had one ever since.

I didn't know so many under 5 year olds have season tickets.

So 2000/01 then?

Don't go bigging up your Bladeiness by trying to pretend some occassional attendance to oggle at Captain Blade, counts as support.

Disappointed with you Linz.

Really disappointed.

Hurt and disappointed and a bit saddened.

Etc etc etc.

Leading on from this question and important in the how big a blade argument.

If you can't go, do you sell or give your ticket to someone else.

I am a giver myself :rolleyes::eek:

Well that's a self-defeating argument. If you can't go that means you are giving something else a greater priority which leaves you pretty low in the big blade stakes.

To answer your question, I'd just keep the ST to misen.

Continuously since 1984 when we moved to Nottingham with just a 2yr break as part of my negotiations to get the wife to agree to a move from Leeds to Maidenhead with my job in 1994.

Soon negotiated it back when we got there though ;)

Started going regularly in January 1970. It was easy to pay on the gate for the BLUT for most of the games that year. Sat in John Street Stand for the League Cup game against L**ds (think BLUT was full before we could get in). My dad bought BLUT tickets for him, me and my cousin (David Beardow) in advance for the Sheffield derby game. Stood in the BLLT for the Boxing Day game against Leicester (assume BLUT was full before we got in). Sat in John Street west wing for Luton game in February 1971. Since then my dad bought BLUT tickets in advance for the rest of the season. In summer 1971 my dad decided to buy season tickets for the first time in his life and we were season ticket holders in the BLUT until 1977. I stood in the Kop when I went to home games in 1977-78 season. Started being a season ticket holder from 1989-90 season (I bought half season ticket in December 1988)
