I won't be boycotting, I'll just be seriously reconsidering buying one
I said last season that if my Kop season ticket was more than £300 then I wouldn't renew, this season is the same, although I fully expect the club to reduce the prices... but deep down I doubt they will.
Its not about whether I can afford it or even if the football is worth watching, I just don't think that the Kop is worth more than £300 a year. I don't think any where in the Championship is worth more than £300 a year.
If we go down, then next season the club will need my support even more, whether they treat me like shite or don't give me Euro football in 5 years isn't the point, its not about clapping or agreeing with the club on every subject. Its about me supporting my club, because I can.
For a number of years, including the PL season i've not been able to get back as often as I wanted because of work, so i take every opportunity I can with the restrictions that I have, to make it back. My weekends home are planned purely around United games!
Some of you may not agree, but its what I like to do and I still enjoy the days at the footy, plus with a ST, I get a guaranteed seat near my mates.
Unfortunately I'll probably then have to boycott the club in another way... I know, i'll boycott the vegetarian pies!
