The best data we have to predict how many points teams are going to get is how many points they've got so far. Might as well use that.

What about the games in hand? 3 points for all?
Average points. 28/29 games is enough data to fairly resolve this unfortunate situation.
Unfortunately Man United have a higher points per game average than us by a tiny amount, about 0.02.
. I would also be pleased to welcome Leeds and West Brom into the EPL, because they will both struggle.
Leeds and WBA are so entitled and believe their own hype, they are bound to struggle.
Why would they 3 definitely would but 17 others wouldn'tProblem is if there is a vote from the clubs I think they will void it and start again.
That’s also true. But you do realise, with 9/10 games left, most teams have played each other already?
Although who is to say that, in a one off match, one team will prove more difficult an opponent than another? We beat Arsenal but couldn’t beat Watford or Newcastle or Southampton! What does that tell you?
Answer: All games are difficult.
Please suggest a fairer solution then? One that treats all teams exactly the same? I’ll be fascinated to hear that?
Anyone in with a chance of getting relagated if the season finished would vote to void and get another year in the premier league. Why would they 3 definitely would but 17 others wouldn't
And in reality if they void it are they willing like us say in 7th to forego the £27m final position money I don't think so
I would also be pleased to welcome Leeds and West Brom into the EPL, because they will both struggle. Blades have made the adjustment because of CWAK understanding how tough the season would be, and preparing the side for a hard season.

As I said that's 6 at most and if we void if no one gets any final placing money . Better to be relegated with 120m parachute than get nothing instead of 20 to 40 m quid most would be basing spending onAnyone in with a chance of getting relagated if the season finished would vote to void and get another year in the premier league.
If nobody gets money then yes I couldn't see them voiding it but I'd imagine they would split out an amount and go again. Pure guesswork but that's my guess. As I said that's 6 at most and if we void if no one gets any final placing money . The money is paid as a performance bonus. If it's voided as no contest there can't be a performance bonusIf nobody gets money then yes I couldn't see them voiding it but I'd imagine they would split out an amount and go again. Pure guesswork but that's my guess.
Sorry for not being clear about this. My post assumes that the games are completed, and under normal circumstances, I would expect Leeds and West Brom to be promoted. I just don’t think they will be prepared as well as Blades were. Why is it seen as a foregone conclusion that West Brom and Leeds are going up? It’s only a 6 and 7 point lead, so why should they be given promotion?
Norwich are 6 points from safety, if we’re saying West Brom are up because of a 6 point lead then surely we should be relegating Norwich as well?
There is no way the Championship clubs in and around the playoffs will accept Leeds and West Brom being promoted with no playoff promotion.
Seems clear to me that individual countries within UEFA cannot be allowed to make their own decisions. You can't have one league finishing , say, 2 months after another league. It has to be concerted and coordinated.
